Having the tips of your heels replaced can be expensive at times depending on the severity of the damage. Wearing your high heels at least a couple days a week seems normal but your shoes can actually start to wear out the moment that set foot on them. High heeled shoes are fragile and must be taken care of immediately. The heel tips in particular are fragile enough that they need to be replaced constantly. Fortunately, there’s an easy and inexpensive way to replace the heel tips. Here’s what you should do:



Step #1: Use a tape measure or ruler to get an exact size and dimension of the heel tip. Step #2: Go to your local shoe shop and purchase the necessary size of replacement heel tips. Step #3: Use a prying tool or better use a pair of pliers to remove the existing heel tips.



Step #4: Apply a drop of super glue in the middle of the heel where the heel tip will rest. You may need to sand off any residue to make sure the surface is completely flat. Step #5: You need to drive the heel tips in very carefully. Some pins are made out of plastic and you may need to exert just enough pressure to put the heels firmly in place. Superglue might drip from the sides, so be sure to have a piece of cloth handy.
