Does your feet sweat when you wear a pair of closed, round toe pumps? If your feet sweats a lot, you might want to take a quick sniff in your shoes. Sweating isn’t all that bad. As a matter of fact, it’s the way of how our body compensates for excessive heat.

However, sweat can be an ideal breeding ground for bacteria. Put sweat inside your shoes and you’ve got yourself a nasty bacteria brewing pot and it will eventually stink. And you do not want this to happen to your shoes because it’s not just your shoes that’s going to get stinky but your feet as well. Check out these tips on how to keep the nasty odor out of your shoes and off your feet:

Combine one part corn flour and baking powder. This solution will suck the moisture out of anything it touches. Place the mixture inside your shoes. Put a generous amount to make sure all the moisture is dried out. Clean your shoes after a whole night of leaving it to rest.

To keep your feet from stinking, apply either talcum powder, baking soda, or cornstarch. Don’t apply them all at once. Test each on out and see which one works best. Usually, talcum powder is enough to keep your feet dry and stink-free.
